My problem with the Scooter Libby circus is that justice was applied unevenly--Cheney is much more of a schmuck than Libby is, and he's not been brought to justice.
I guess that Libby really did break the law, though, and ought to receive fair punishment according to the law. I don't see any particular reason for his sentence to be commuted as long as it was fair to begin with. I think the presidential pardon should be used much more selectively than it is. I just think that Cheney is probably guilty of a lot more and he's getting away with it.
