I Feel as Small on the Inside as I Act Large on the Outside

figuratively speaking, of course. i talk a good game, but often fall short. irony is, i'm probably already much cooler than i give myself credit for; if i would only let myself take the credit, i probably would not feel the need to inflate my image to others, which invariably bursts.

this is the nuclear fallout, my very own Chernobyl. my Geiger counter measures in tears, or is that taking the metaphor entirely too far?
