Eurail Passes are Cool
I have a funny story about traveling from Italy through Switzerland and Austria to Germany on my Eurail pass, which is entirely too much fun.
You have to know a little bit about the stereotypes of these countries before you hear the story, though.
There's the old joke that goes something like this, "Heaven is a place where the French are the cooks, the Italians are the lovers, the Germans organize everything, and the English are the police. Hell is a place where the Germans are the lovers, the Italians organize everything, the English are the cooks and the French are the police."
So Italians are often seen as disorganized and unconcerned with order and the Germans are overly concerned with order and organization.
I also exaggerate the story to make it funnier but the premise is the same.
