Cruise Losing Clout?

I wonder how much his Katie Holmes shenanigans will affect his professional reputation and his relationship with his peers.

Jon Stewart did a pretty pointed Scientology spoof at the Oscars, pretending to preach from the stage.

Holmes has turned down an offer from Columbia University in order to become baby-making machine to Cruise. I wonder how long it will last. Did she get pregnant accidentally and has all the rest has been a charade to cover for it? Does that explain why it's felt so forced and fake?

"Lullaby and Goodnight" when i was a kid, i had a mobile that played Johannes Brahms' lullaby. i can still hear it in my mind, sometimes, and i thought i'd share it with you. attraction rather than promotion is my best marketing tactic and foreign policy. being me is the best way to draw others in and earn their interest. it really is that simple. title is a variation on a line from the movie "Field of Dreams." my hormones are changing and i'm wondering if they're responsible for my bone loss. i'm really anxious and worried about it. should i see an endocrinologist? can't wait to see pictures of baby kate, and i especially can't wait to meet her! i should make plane reservations soon to get a "fair" fare.

Trimming the Fat

weeding through my entire blog--there are almost 1400 posts! quality over quantity; getting rid of stuff that seems irrelevent or misplaced or superfluous or otherwise dissatisfactory. saw a great documentary on the History Channel today about Hitler's family. turns out there are still a few living in the US! they've also had a good series on the SS, but, most importantly, tomorrow night they start the entire " Band of Brothers " series! i never tire of watching it. literally! i'm 15 pounds lighter with muscle to boot. can't believe it. cutting sugar and flour really works. started bob tonight, just love it. i'd like to get the soundtrack. dentist on friday. i'd like to get my blog to about 1000 posts. quite time consuming. turning in is the answer, not out. growth, expansion, new life. it's about time. i am so stale, and i can hardly breathe in here. the window hasn't been open for ages, and i cannot feel fresh air on my face or see the out...
