The Third Dimension: A Wet One

I've always loved swimming because it involves being suspended in three dimensions. As a kid, I loved being submersed, upside down, and looking up at my feet. On the ground we perambulate around in two dimensions, usually, but in water (and in the air) the ground rules change (sorry for the pun).

I delighted in spending many summers largely in the pool as a kid, experimenting with 3-d space, and just messing around, playing games, finding new ways to jump off the diving board, how to make the biggest waves, etc. Good times.
